Preoperative phone call

The day before your procedure, you will receive a phone call from Clinique Tivoli-Ducos.

  • Inform you of your exact arrival time at the clinic,
  • Let you know the floor or department where you will be admitted.

Before the procedure

Upon your arrival in the ward, a nurse will welcome you and carry out the final preoperative checks :

  • Verification of your identity and medical record,
  • Confirmation that fasting instructions have been followed,
  • Recording of your vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature),
  • Preparation of the operative field according to the procedure.

Once these steps have been completed, you will be taken to the operating room.

In the operating room

You will be cared for by the anesthesia team and our surgical assistants specialized in colorectal surgery.

A final discussion with the anesthesiologist will confirm your identity, the nature of the procedure, and ensure that there are no contraindications or intercurrent complications.

All staff members are committed to ensuring your safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

After the operation, you will be taken to the recovery room before returning to your hospital room.

Your Care Pathway

At the end of the consultation or during your hospitalization, the surgeon may suggest that you participate in a research protocol, such as a study evaluating a new surgical device, a new method of administering it, new surgical techniques, personalized therapeutic strategies, etc.
