At the “Towards New Standards in Colorectal Cancer” Symposium, to be held in Bruges on November 27–28, 2025, leading international experts will gather to discuss the latest advances and emerging standards in colorectal cancer management. Professor Denost will contribute his expertise through two key presentations focused on the evolving treatment landscape of rectal cancer: “In Near Complete Response”, delivered as part of the debate on endoluminal local therapy (surgical versus endoscopic approaches), and “De-escalation Strategies”, addressing innovative treatment de-escalation approaches in the era of Total Neoadjuvant Therapy (TNT). These lectures will highlight current challenges and opportunities in organ preservation and the personalization of rectal cancer treatment.
