The ACM is an essential annual conference where the BCI will discuss in this 2025 edition the subject of Watch & Wait in patients with rectal cancer in sub-complete response after neoadjuvant treatment: "Near complete clinical response is suitable for W&W".
Each year the BCI is delighted to be present as a speaker at the Towards New Standards Symposium and to discuss perfect rectal surgery performed by robot and the importance of local excision which should be integrated into future protocols.
Honored to be invited to the CRSA congress with many international experts to discuss the French policy on organ preservation from the first to the last randomized trial of the GRECCAR group (from GRECCAR 2 to GRECCAR 20).
It is always a great pleasure to go to Brazil to discuss the role of neoadjuvant chemotherapy in organ preservation (GRECCAR 12 randomized trial of the GRECCAR group) and to moderate the session on the assessment of tumor response after neoadjuvant treatment.
Other topics on surgical techniques such as the use of fluorescence in routine practice were also discussed.
The BCI is delighted to have been able to present the results of two trials from the GRECCAR group:
- Randomized trial GRECCAR 12: Induction chemotherapy and radiochemotherapy versus radiochemotherapy alone in organ preservation of rectal cancer
- Snapshot of the GRECCAR group (observational study) on organ preservation in the management of rectal cancer.
It is with pleasure that the BCI was invited as a speaker to discuss colorectal surgery performed under low pressure as well as the digestive sequelae after rectal surgery.
Speaker at the essential annual European congress of the ESCP, to present the results of the SNAPSHOT trial on organ preservation in the treatment of rectal cancer.
We won the award for best communication in this SIX BEST session.
The BCI is also delighted to have won the award for best video with "Robotic approach for removal of a presacral lesion- a video vignette".
